Annual meeting of EU coordinators in Cologne (27 February 2024)
At the annual meeting of all EU-coordinators from all VET schools in the district of the regional government of Cologne 80 VET teachers responsible for Erasmus+ and internationalisation from different vocational schools came together to discuss the latest changes, news and trends in Erasmus+ in VET education. The project coordinator EU-Geschäftsstelle seized this opportunity to discuss the preliminary outcomes of the project with the VET professionals.
Ceremony 25 years of VET (24 May 2024)
The GeTinVET project was presented at the ceremony marking 25 years of vocational colleges in North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf. Visitors to the event were able to find out about the project results to date during the celebrations.
ATEE (Association for Teacher Education in Europe) confenernce in Bergamo (29 may – 1 June 2024)
Our partner Vytautas Magnus University from Lithuania presented GeTinVET and its aims and findings at the annual ATEE conference in Bergamo. This international conference focusses on Teacher Education in Europe and is an important event to discuss trends, challenges, practices and perspectives in this field with 1500 participants from this sector across Europe.

EDEN (European Distance and E-Learning Network) conference in Graz (16-18 June 2024)
Our partner Vytautas Magnus University from Lithuania presented GeTinVET and its aims and findings at the annual EDEN conference in Graz to a wide range of stakeholders from the education (Higher Education level including teacher training education) sector. 900 participants from all over Europe attended this meeting.

Ceremony with Minister Feller in Düsseldorf (8 October 2024)
On 8 October 2024, a central ceremony was held at the Heinrich Hertz Vocational College in Düsseldorf to mark the 25th anniversary of the EU offices in North Rhine-Westphalia. At the ceremony, two colleagues from the Adolf Kolping Vocational College presented the Green Transition in Vocational Education and Training project as a ‘lighthouse project’ in North Rhine-Westphalia.

GIZ Serbia visits the Adolf Kolping Vocational College to learn about the results of the ‘Green Transition in Vocational Education and Training’ project (29 October 2024)
On 29 October 2024, 20 representatives of the Serbian vocational education and training system visited the AKBK. Representatives of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the Institute for Quality Assurance and school administrators learned about our educational offerings. The focus was on the project ‘Green Transition in Vocational Education and Training’ to highlight the potential of green transformation.
TCA Erasmus+: Building a Sustainable Future Together in Marseille (3-4 December 2024)
The GeTinVET project was promoted at a major international TCA event in Marseille. Many project partners from across Europe who are implementing or planning projects on the topic of sustainability were able to exchange ideas at the conference. There was considerable interest in our project idea.

European Project Week at Adolf-Kolping-Berufskolleg (19-21 March 2025)
Testing of the learning modules was integrated into an EU project week at the Adolf Kolping Vocational College (19–21 March). The entire project week was held under the motto of ‘interdisciplinarity’ in the dual system. The two learning modules, ‘Installation of a solar thermal system’ and ‘Energy saving through smart homes’, were mainly attended by ‘HVAC system mechanics’ and ‘electronics technicians for energy and building technology’. Annual meeting of EU coordinators in Cologne (15 May 2025)
At the annual meeting of all EU-coordinators from all VET schools in the district of the regional government of Cologne 74 VET teachers responsible for Erasmus+ and internationalisation from 50 different vocational schools came together to discuss the latest changes, news and trends in Erasmus+ in VET education. Of course the project coordinator EU-Geschäftsstelle disseminated the outcomes of the project to the VET professionals, offering valueable insights into the innovative approaches developed within the project.
TCA in Lüneburg (21-23 May 2025)
TCA Green Erasmus: A contribution to Europe’s green transition?! takes stock of the experiences gained in implementing the horizontal priority "Environment and fight against climate change" in Erasmus+. Also GeTinVET project was presented by Adolf-Kolping-Berufskolleg who was invited to share the school`s expereince with sustainability as a "good practice" example.
Multiplier Events in Germany, Finland, Italy, Lithuania, Italy and Spain (May – August 2025)
All project partners organised Multiplier events to share the project’s outcomes within their institutions and across their local and regional communities. The results were showcased to VET teachers, school leaders, industry partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring wide visibility and fostering exchange on innovative practices in vocational education. Through targeted presentations and discussions, the project reached a broad audience and created strong momentum for further use and adoption of the results in the respective countries.
